What will I see when I walk in?
You'll walk into a beautiful historic building with stained glass windows, pews, steeples and a bell tower.
What is the style of worship?
Our worship is generally traditional with hymns, the doxology, liturgies and benedictions. However, on occasion we will play newer music.
Is there a dress code?
Everyone who enters our church is welcome as they are. There's no need to dress a certain way to be allowed in.
What is the preaching like?
Pastor Willie preaches through books of the Bible verse by verse each week. There are also times when the preaching is topical, such as special holidays or when a guest is preaching. The preaching is intended to be challenging, convicting and uplifting for the purpose of preparing the church to go out and share Christ with the world.
Is it special-needs friendly?
We recognize the challenges families experience when coming to church with children who have special needs. We want you to know you are welcome here and will be loved.
Though at this time there isn't a special ministry for special-needs children, we are in the process of developing programs at this time.
Is it handicap accessible?
While we do have ramps for the entrances to the sanctuary and fellowship hall, we are continuing to improve our accessibility.
If you require any accommodations, please let us know and we will be happy to help any way we can.
How can I get connected?
Every Sunday we have what's called Bible and Breakfast. It involves a full breakfast, a Bible quiz and lesson in the Scriptures. This is the best opportunity to get to know people in the church. The breakfast itself begins at 9:00am and the lesson begins at 9:30am.
If you're unable to join us for breakfast, you will be welcomed by someone when you come to our regular worship time at 10:30am each Sunday.
Every month on the 2nd Sunday the church holds a special fellowship luncheon after service. This too is open to the community. You don't need to bring anything to participate.
As for the other weeks, the church enjoys having less formal gatherings after church to continue the fellowship.
